Match Report
Saint Ronan's School Boys-U10A vs  Sutton Valence Preparatory School
On: Wednesday, 20 Nov 2019
Venue: Away

The first rugby match of the season was very successful, especially as we had only started our season a week ago and had only three training sessions. The teams did not disappoint with their effort and the progress they made throughout the game was significant.

The A team had a tough encounter and, in the first half, were overpowered at the breakdown. We were rucked off the ball every time and therefore it was very difficult to keep possession of the ball. Our first try was a great pass from Olly H to Louis, who ran a great line to score. In the second half, Josh B’s work rate at the ruck was outstanding, to gain and keep the ball. An area of concern was our defensive line, which SV managed to breach on many occasions. Sutton Valence deserved to win.
