Match Report
Saint Ronan's School Girls-U12B vs  Sutton Valence School
On: Wednesday, 01 May 2019
Venue: Away

The U12Bs were a small team of 6 this afternoon. They therefore played 2 games against 2 different SVS teams. The pairs were Harriet A and Maddie B, Romola W and Olivia E, Chloe L and Sophie M. The girls played well and won the first game - Saint Ronan’s 236 runs to SVS 215 runs. The score of the second game went the other way - Saint Ronan’s 228 runs to SVS 249 runs. The girls played some good cricket and communicated well in their pairs. Sophie M played well, both when bowling and batting, managing some strong hits. Harriet A also hit some great balls but needs to be careful not to lift the ball and risk being caught out. Romola W carried out an effective long barrier in the second game. All in all, the girls played well in their first cricket match of the year. More bowling practice will avoid giving away points for wide and no balls. The overall result was a draw! Well done.
