Match Report
Saint Ronan's School Boys-U10C vs  Vinehall School
On: Wednesday, 27 Feb 2019
Venue: Away

We played two teams against the Vinehall B team. The first team on was strong in the middle and Felix, in particular, stood out: strong in the tackle, with his stick on the floor, he was able to track the ball and emerge to send passes wide to the left. Will had a great game as GK, narrowing his angles and forcing shots to go wide. We went 0-1 down but kept working to get the ball wide. This paid off, as a lovely strong ball from the left was finished off crisply by Alfie.

The second team to go on had more difficulty making use of the width of the pitch and we were often faced with another attack. Fergus did exceptionally well in midfield/defence, being committed and strong in the tackle and quick to close down the opponents. Will was left exposed and the team conceded goals but Will also made several point blank saves. However, there was some lovely skillful hockey played by both sides.
