Match Report
Saint Ronan's School Boys-U11C vs  Cumnor House Sussex
On: Wednesday, 19 Jun 2019
Venue: Away

After taking the scenic route, we eventually arrived at CH ready for action. Alfie G won the toss and, after consulting his team mates, decided to insert the hosts. What a great decision, as the wicket resembled a green top.

With the ball seaming sideways, our bowlers made hay, especially William A, Corban McD, Thomas U and Patrick H each took wickets by bowling out their batsman. In the field, Leo T took a fine catch by keeping his eye on the ball and watching the high ball land safely in his bucket hands. CM finished on a total of 29 runs, plus the 100 start, therefore bringing their final score to 129. The SRS batsmen made a safe but solid start, thanks to Alistair P and Alfie G. Then the cavalry arrived in the form of William A and Nicholas L, both of them despatching the ball to the boundary on numerous occasions. SRS finished on a healthy score of 140 runs, only losing one wicket. Well played lads.
