Match Report
Saint Ronan's School Boys-U13A vs  Claremont Preparatory School
On: Wednesday, 06 Mar 2019
Venue: Away

A very satisfying win for the 1st VII as we kept our heads and played controlled hockey against what can conservatively be described as a robust physical approach from the opposition. Claremont had some quick players but Humphrey B, in goal, was rarely troubled and kicked solidly when needed. Tom H controlled the defence and was as alert as ever throughout. He was assisted very effectively by the midfield, who were well aware of their defensive responsibilities when not in possession. Special mention to Jack B, who selflessly played out of position on the left and adapted very well. Goals in each half from Will D and Will H were just rewards for our efforts and the boys were happy to emerge from the game with sticks and shins intact! Man of the Match: Jack B
