Match Report
Saint Ronan's School Girls-U10A vs  Skippers Hill Manor Preparatory School
On: Wednesday, 06 Feb 2019
Venue: Away

Fortunately the rain held off and the matches went ahead as planned at Skipper's Hill on Wednesday. The girls played with determination, energy and skill from the first whistle and, by the end of Q1, the score was 6-0 (all goals scored by Clara S, who was on fantastic form). I sensed an opportunity to test the girls' adaptability and teamwork so throughout the rest of the match, positions were rotated frequently. The girls enjoyed the challenge and continued to play some lovely, fast-moving netball. The girls passed the ball accurately to the various shooters (Polly H, Jo-Jo CM and Hebe L) who, buoyed up by the success of the team, continued to score: 11-0 at half time and 14-0 at the end of Q3. The team limited SH's chances to score by marking well and snatching in any wayward pass. Sydney W showed great determination at both GK and GD. Our rotating mid-court players, Hebe L, Libby H and Henrietta G, showed wonderful teamwork and moved the ball with style and speed. A terrific performance and a great team effort. Well done, girls. Player of the Match: Jo-Jo CM.
