Match Report
Saint Ronan's School 3rd XI vs  Dulwich Prep Cranbrook
On: Wednesday, 14 Nov 2018
Venue: Away

It being the last match of the season, the boys wanted to finish on a high and they started well, with chances being created for Jack F and Aston B after excellent through balls from Marcus H and Charlie B. Against the run of play, DCPS scored from a corner and this was to be our downfall as they scored a further two goals from the same spot. Just before half time, SRS scored through Jack F with a first-time strike just inside the box, after a perfect cross from Oli L. So it was 1-1 at half time. The second half started with our hosts well on top and soon they were 3-1 up as we could not defend corners. If it wasn't for Willem C in goal, the score would have been a lot more - he produced some excellent saves by diving to his right and expertly pushing the ball past the post. Not to be denied, the energetic Humphrey B scored, placing his shot in the left corner to make the final score 3-2 to our hosts. A good game of football, played with lots of energy and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
