U13 A/B v Sevenoaks B triangular

The two mixed Saint Ronan’s teams played a triangular with Sevenoaks Bs on a cracking afternoon. It was a great opportunity for the 1st and 2nd teams to mix up and play together. In both matches, shots were fired from all over the place, making it hard for the keepers. A 2-1 victory was the final result, with the aid of Will H's and Joe F's trusty boots. In the second game, a 0-0 draw result was not a true reflection, especially after having most of the possession and a vast number of shots at goal. Tom H, with his strong boot, is, one day, going to score a superb goal from distance. Watch this space! A particular mention to Arthur VDB for his vision and passing, as well as to Arthur E for his tenacity in defence. Barnaby D made some brilliant saves to keep us in the match; Archie W’s control and movement in the mid-field helped create gaps in the opposition’s defence and he was unlucky not to place a few in the back of the net. Well done!
