Match Report
Saint Ronan's School Girls-U11A vs  Dulwich Prep Cranbrook
On: Wednesday, 21 Nov 2018
Venue: Away

The girls have put into practice what they have been learning in training. They gave each other more space and were able to display their skills. They dominated the first half, with some great play by Millie DH as C, who always seemed to be there when needed. Kitty H and Anya R also worked well to get the ball into our D and to Ruby M, who found good positions under the post. In the second half, the cold conditions meant that we found it harder to catch the ball and this resulted in more turn-overs for DCPS. In this half, the defence had more to do and rose to the challenge. Ruby A closed down the options of the WA so that she was forced down the court; Esme C stuck so close to her GS that she barely got the ball and Lottie H’s reach to intercept the ball, even by tipping it off for a throw, kept the score down to 1-2 in this half. A great start to the season: the girls are ready to learn and are aiming to play sublime netball. Well done. Player of the Match: Lottie H
