Match Report
Saint Ronan's School Girls-U9 Navy vs  Sacred Heart School Wadhurst Girls-U9A
On: Thursday, 15 Nov 2018
Venue: Away

The Navy team went to Wadhurst on Thursday and shared a match with the Royal team against the Sacred Heart U9 girls, who were having their first match against another school. The Navy team dominated play, with quick movement and confident passing and catching - particularly from Amelia B and Jessica T. Both Jessica T and Bella B took advantage of slightly lower goal posts than they are used to, with each of them scoring 3 goals. In a slightly shorter second session of netball, the Navy team played out of position which challenged their skills and versatility. Daisy A enjoyed the responsibility of GA, scoring on her first attempt; Bea E took a swift and accurate centre pass; Mia B supported Daisy well in the goal circle and Marianne P intercepted many passes at GD. The team showed great sportsmanship throughout the afternoon, supporting the Royals with enthusiasm, congratulating Sacred Heart's shooters on their successes when playing the Royal team and eagerly chatting to everyone over tea. Well done, girls! Players of the Match: Jessica T and Amelia B.
