Match Report
Saint Ronan's School Girls 2nd VII vs  Sutton Valence School
On: Wednesday, 03 Oct 2018
Venue: Away

The second team are developing into a cohesive unit and produced an impressive performance of attacking hockey which overwhelmed SV. It’s important for any team to stretch the opposition with pace and movement up front and Bella K did this in abundance and deserved her two well-taken goals. The midfielder’s strong tackling helped win back possession and flooded the SV circle going forward. Mathilda F added to her goal tally this season with two more impressive finishes, and Amelie G’s quiet determination was rewarded with a goal towards the end. With Eleanor S dependable as ever in defence, SV found it hard to make an impact. It was to our credit that we kept our shape so well, despite everyone rotating positions throughout the match. We could be more ruthless from penalty corners but this was certainly not a day to dwell on negatives! Player of the Match: Bella K
