Match Report
Saint Ronan's School Girls 3rd VII vs  Dulwich Prep Cranbrook
On: Wednesday, 26 Sep 2018
Venue: Away

A hot afternoon for the 3rd VII, up against the Dulwich 2nd VII, so we would have our work cut out to match them. The first half was even, with both sides defending well. Chloe L in goal was alert and kicked powerfully; Evie S, Lucy G and Rosie S at the back provided good protection and marked and tackled well. In the heat, we rotated the team and the girls adapted brilliantly when asked to play in different positions. Our movement and energy was impressive and the midfield tucked in and defended when we lost possession, thus demonstrating good game awareness. So 0-0 at half time and all to play for. After the break we were a little unlucky when Dulwich took the lead via a freak deflection. Shortly afterwards they made it 2-0 when we were chasing an equaliser. So a pretty even scrap overall - a bit of work to do on our passing and retaining possession but certainly a fully committed performance. Player of the Match: Chloe L
