Match Report
Saint Ronan's School Girls U10B vs  Rose Hill School
On: Wednesday, 12 Sep 2018
Venue: Away

The girls started well against Rose Hill, with possession evenly distributed between the two teams for most of the match. We held RH to a 0-0 draw in the first half and our chances looked good to score in the second, but a momentary lapse of concentration in defence left our goal exposed. RH were quick to take advantage and exploit the opportunity, slipping the ball through the gap to score. The girls really fought back hard, managing to maintain possession for most of the second half. We had some super attempts at goal, with the ball missing the target by the narrowest of margins on several occasions. Despite our best efforts, we were not able to create the space needed to work the ball through the Rose Hill defence, which by this stage consisted of most of their team. Special mention to Evie R, who never gave up in attack, and Flora H, who was calm and effective in clearing the ball in defence. Player of the Match: Jo Jo CM
