Match Report
Saint Ronan's School Girls 4th VII vs  Marlborough House School
On: Wednesday, 07 Nov 2018
Venue: at Home

It was a spectacular autumn day for the girls' matches against MHS. The conditions were good, despite the downpour at lunch time! The 4ths and 5ths shared a match against the MHS 4th team. The 5ths were first to step up and showed excellent progress since the start of the season. They used the space effectively and Romola W played a solid, high position as centre-forward. Harriet A was strong in defence and Sophie M used the width well, showing intelligence off the ball. There were chances at both ends but MHS managed to sneak in a goal. The score at half time was 1-0 to MHS. The 4th team, having supported the 5ths from the side line, were well-prepped to take on MHS in the second half. Lottie C was on fire and dominated the play. Charlotte P and Emma B made solid tackles and kept MHS out of the attacking D. Alicia S made some superb drives up in attack and we were able to put away 2 goals in quick succession, winning the half 2-1. A super effort, well done. Final score 2-2. Players of the Match: Matilda E and Sophie M.
