Match Report
Saint Ronan's School Boys-U10A vs  Skippers Hill Manor Preparatory School
On: Wednesday, 04 Dec 2019
Venue: at Home

With a mixed ability team, half away at Radnor for football and the rest playing rugby at home, it was surely going to be an entertaining afternoon of sport. A very jolly Skipper's school arrived and, considering that they had not played much rugby, they were certainly up for the challenge. Unfortunately SRS were a little off the pace in the first half and much of what we had worked on in the week had evaporated. Our defensive line was not organised, partly due to SH's agile players. We were also rather selfish with the ball. This however, changed in the second half! We moved the ball well out of contact and passed the ball much better, resulting in a few more tries. A better team performance, although a few stand outs - Louis and Arturo tackling hard and Theo reading and organising the troops. Work needed on structure and trust that our team mates will make the tackles so that we don't all follow the ball.
