Match Report
Saint Ronan's School Boys-U10A vs  Sutton Valence Preparatory School
On: Wednesday, 18 Sep 2019
Venue: Away

The U10As came up against a strong and well-drilled SVPS side on Wednesday. Having worked hard on Monday and Tuesday on positioning and space, it was great to see everyone’s work coming to life. We started the first half with great intensity, winning 50/50 tackles and using the width when in possession. Oli H scored the first goal of the game, drilling a first time volley from an out-swinging cross from Will. After a little half time pep talk, we came out and matched SVPS’s intensity and physicality. The defence worked their socks off, clearing the ball away from danger and giving our wingers quick ball. The game was capped off with a fantastic counter-attacking play. Oli H played the ball through to Miles B, who ran half a pitch and tucked it away past the keeper. It’s great to see the boys working hard in training and putting everything they’ve learnt into practice. Man of the Match: the whole team.
