Match Report
Saint Ronan's School Girls-U13B vs  Vinehall School
On: Wednesday, 05 Jun 2019
Venue: Away

The U13Bs played kwik cricket against Vinehall School this afternoon. Many of the team were over-excited and distracted at the start of the game which led to poor fielding. We gave runs away to Vinehall by being sloppy in our passing and catching. The girls were also indecisive as to who should go for the ball and then let the ball go over the boundary. I suggested calling 'mine' to be clear who is going for the ball. Nevertheless, the girls managed some strong bowling - especially Lucy G, Hope R, Bella K and Evie VB. Bella, Lucy and Evie VB also managed some big hits in their first batting innings. In the second innings, the girls were a bit more focused. Amelie G did an outstanding job, both fielding and batting - running with conviction to catch the opponent out and stopping the ball going over the boundary several times. She also did some of the biggest hits of the game! The final score was 415 to Vinehall and 314 to St Ronan's. Vinehall chose Bella K and Amelie G as the Players of the Match.
