Match Report
Saint Ronan's School Boys-U12B vs  Vinehall School
On: Wednesday, 16 Jan 2019
Venue: Away

A wonderful match to watch, in horrendous conditions with driving, cold rain. We were never more than 2 tries from pulling the game back and levelled the game four times during the afternoon which only added to the excitement. The boys kept going to the final whistle, with their heads held high. The defensive game was good, with determined racks and mauls but our tackling on occasions could have been better (an area to work on). Our attacking play was brilliant and fluid, with good handling skills, in conditions that were not favourable for this type of play. Special mention must go to Aston B (Man of the Match, scrum half) for his great running and for being always there at the break down; also to Harry A for smashing through the defence and scoring 2 tries. Charlie B and Angus H gained great distances in their dogged runs, to just fall short of the opposition's try line. Looking forward to our next match.
