Match Report
Saint Ronan's School Boys-U13A vs  Vinehall School
On: Wednesday, 12 Dec 2018
Venue: Away

This was a one-sided affair, with our hosts unable to put any decent phases of rugby together. But credit must be given to them as, in the second half, they fought to the bitter end and wouldn't allow their heads to drop. SRS scored eleven tries and it was nice to see the scores being shared out between 8 boys. The forwards and backs linked up well and everyone got their hands on the ball. SRS were clinical, scoring tries from anywhere on the pitch. It's hard to single out any one player as they all played well and as a team. At half time I took off 3 players and by the end we were playing with 8 players. It was a good work out for those left at the end as they had to work hard - Vinehall came back determined but our defence held strong and they could not cross the line. It has been a good start to the rugby term but there will be sterner tests to come in the new year. Well done, everyone, and have a great Xmas.
